About Us: Meet the Troy Austen Real Estate Team

Troy Austen has been a sales representative for RE/MAX since 1996.

He has received the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award, Muskoka-Haliburton Top Sales Team Award each year since 1999, and has been inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame. In 2021 he and his Team attained the Pinnacle Club Team Award – the highest Team Award available at RE/MAX.

As a 5th generation Haliburton County resident, there's no place Troy hasn't personally explored. His love for the outdoors has nourished his knowledge of what this picturesque landscape has to offer and what prospective buyers can expect from the different lakes. He also has the previous experience of building and selling spec cottages on lakefront developments. In 2022 he partnered with his sister Skye to launch Haliburton Cottage Rentals to fill the needs expressed by many of his clients and contacts – a professional and trustworthy cottage rental service. That business is also experiencing great reviews and exciting growth in its infancy.

He brings irreplaceable experience with him from the countless deals he has had a hand in. The connections he has made over his many years in the business have not only created a referral network that will get the job done, but also will provide you with the top-notch professionals to protect your interests and make your transaction go seamlessly!

Born and raised in Haliburton, his family has been part of Haliburton County for over 6 generations. He is the son of Joe & Heather Roberts, who owned and operated Roberts Marina (Now RPM) on Grass Lake, part of Haliburton's popular 5 lake chain. Drawing on his family experience and history in the community, Braden truly understands the concept of investing in the area, and his familiarity with all things local creates an efficient and enjoyable purchase! 

Since obtaining his license in 2016, his passion for helping clients has rewarded him with a diverse sales portfolio. As a strategic thinker, Braden is always looking for new and innovative ways to grow professionally and help his clients realize their aspirations of settling in the county.

Amanda was born and raised in Toronto. She attended Queen's University and graduated in 2012. Amanda and husband Chris, raised in Haliburton, finished their cottage on Redstone Lake in late 2020. During the process of selling their first cottage and building their permanent one, her love of Real Estate grew exponentially, and resulted in her swapping a successful fashion and design career for real estate sales.

The addition of a beautiful baby boy in 2022 has kept them busy but Amanda is still focused on real estate trends and inventory in both Toronto and Haliburton. Amanda's passion and attention to detail translates to dreams fulfilled for her buyers.

Morgan has lived in Haliburton County since 2009. Her family bought a home on Beech River which connects the lakes of Boshkung, Little Boshkung, and Twelve Mile. Since moving here, she has lived on many Lakes including Halls, Maple, Jim Beef, and cottages on Percy Lake. Her knowledge of the different areas in Haliburton is extensive as Morgan has spent many hours exploring in both the summer and winter months. Whether it was summer days out on the lake boating or snowshoeing around the lakes in the winter months. She knows the ins and outs of Haliburton County.

Morgan has been immersed in the real estate business for nearly 10 years as her husband Braden is a seasoned, successful member of our Team.

A bonified "people person," Morgan is outgoing, honest, and goal oriented. Always ready to take on the next adventure.

Cheryl's energetic and passionate personality will make real estate the enjoyable experience that it should be.

Past and present clients and colleagues love Cheryl's enthusiasm, knowledge and responsive assistance in all aspects of property listings and purchases. She has excelled in the field for over 24 years, has been a very successful Realtor as well as mentored and guided salespeople along the way.

Cheryl lives in the east side of Haliburton County and has traded extensively throughout the Bancroft and Kawartha areas as well. Her expertise over this large area will provide you with the comprehensive information you deserve.

Cheryl's caring and dedication shines through to her family and friends that she enjoys- all close to home. She enjoys all things 'home' – improvement and reno's, staging and design, and always has great ideas and projects on the go for DIY's and recycling furniture and art.

Marion has worked in real estate administration and marketing for over 40 years assisting both brokerage offices and individual sales representatives. Her long-time dedication for the business has made her an invaluable asset to both team members and clients.

Tatum was born and raised on beautiful Eagle Lake. She and her husband Dillon now live in Algonquin Highlands and are working on renovating their home there for their young family. Having lived in Eagle Lake she naturally loves downhill skiing in the winter and being on the water in the summertime.

Tatum background is in personal support work and client care and her smile and sunny personality are impossible to miss!

Victoria was born and raised in Woodstock. She and her husband Jason recently moved to Haliburton County with their 3 young children and are working on renovating their home. Since moving to the County, Victoria has joined the board for Minden Skating Club, and can often be found at the rink watching their daughter figure skate.

Victoria has worked in real estate industry for the past several years. Her knowledge of all aspects of real estate administration is vast including Marketing, Agent Rebranding, and Finance.
